Entry for the Children’s Races are taken on the day at approximately 2:30pm in the Main Ring.
The children’s classes at the Trawden Agricultural Show are always a highlight, filled with fun, colour, and creativity. Our Junior Arts and Crafts section gives young people the chance to show off their imagination and skill, with everything from paintings and drawings to model-making and creative writing. Each entry brings a burst of personality and charm, making this area one of the most heartwarming and joyful parts of the show. It’s a brilliant opportunity for children of all ages to express themselves and take pride in seeing their work on public display.
In the Children’s Pet section, young animal lovers can share the special bond they have with their furry, feathered, or scaly friends. Whether it’s a proud puppy, a curious rabbit, or a chatty parrot, these pets are lovingly presented and always draw a smile from judges and visitors alike. And for those looking for a burst of energy and excitement, the Children’s Fun Races are a must. From sack races to three-legged sprints, these light-hearted events bring laughter, friendly competition, and a great sense of community spirit to the day. It’s the perfect way for kids to get involved, make memories, and enjoy the very best of show day.
